Generally, sexual harassment is legally defined as uninvited sex-related behavior. There are three main types of sexual harassment on the workplace. 1. Sexual harassment of women by men. 2. Women threaten men with Sexual harassment claims or propaganda. 3. Sexual harassment by homosexuals.</em></p><p><em>The Protection of Workplace Harassment Act was passed 2010 in Pakistan. Any act, indecent assault, gesture and imposition against the dignity of women under this law is a punishable offense. It also explains that it is also a crime for a harasser to use his or her authority in such cases. </em></p><p><em>There are Two basic types of unlawful harassment in cases of women.1,Quid Pro Quo Harassment, This occurs when a tangible employment action (like change in pay, work status, dismissal, demotion, transfer &amp; work assignments,) is made based on the employee’s submission to or rejection of unwelcome conduct. This kind of harassment is generally committed by a supervisor, manager or senior person. 2. Hostile Work Environment Harassment can result from the unwelcome conduct of supervisors, co-workers, customers, contractors, etc. with whom the victim interacts on the job, and the unwelcome conduct is so severe or pervasive that it renders the workplace atmosphere intimidating, hostile or offensive to a reasonable person.&nbsp;&nbsp; </em></p><p><em>Incidents of women threaten men with Sexual harassment claims or propaganda &amp; Sexual harassment by homosexuals are also on the rise, worldwide. This is also a sensitive &amp; serious issue. A review of the data reveals that the highest incidence of rape &amp; sexual harassment occurs in non-Muslim-majority countries. Some important suggestions &amp; recommendations regarding the state of Pakistan also included.</em></p> ER -
