Open Access Policy

The Pakistan Journal of Islamic Philosophy is a fully open access journal. All articles published in the journal are made freely and permanently available online immediately upon publication, without any subscription, registration or access fees for readers.

The journal follows the principles of the Directory of Open Access Journals (DOAJ) and supports the global initiative to promote unrestricted access to scholarly research. Users are permitted to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search or link to the full texts of articles published in the journal and to use them for any lawful purpose, provided that proper attribution is given to the original author(s) and the journal.

All articles published in Pakistan Journal of Islamic Philosophy are licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution (CC BY) License. This license allows others to share, adapt and build upon the published work, even for commercial purposes, as long as appropriate credit is given to the author(s) and the source, a link to the license is provided and any changes made are clearly indicated.

Authors retain the copyright of their published work. Authors are free to deposit the published version of their articles in institutional repositories, personal websites or other scholarly platforms without embargo, with proper citation of the original publication in Pakistan Journal of Islamic Philosophy.

The journal does not charge any fees for article submission or publication. There are no submission fees or hidden costs at any stage. A nominal amount of Rs.5000/- is charged on account of Article Processing Charge (APC).

Pakistan Journal of Islamic Philosophy is committed to ethical publishing practices, transparency and long-term accessibility of scholarly content, in accordance with international open access standards and DOAJ best practices.
