Logical and Scientific Preaching Style of The Qur'an and Contemporary Ideas

Abstract

The invitation styles of the Qur'an are unique and unmatched. The examples
of these Qur'anic styles are not found in Arabic poetry. Be it speech, fortune telling
or any other way of speech which the Arabs were familiar with before or after Islam.
One of these styles of the Qur'an is the "scientific style of invitation". The styles
adopted by Qur’an show clear and literal command at the same time. The Qur'an
does not adopt unfamiliar methods, and at the same time it contains effective events,
instructive examples, stories of the previous nations, unchanged rulings and issues,
prophesies, and scientific evidences as well. There is no complication in the text and
the style is smoth. Its da'wah has always been and will always be there, its examples
are not mere imaginary. Therefore, questions are arising in the modern scientific
mind as to what is the scientific style of the Qur'an and what is its
comprehensiveness in its style? Is there uniqueness and inclusiveness in it? Why has
the scientific style of the Qur'an briefly presented imagery at many places, and how
will it be helpful to the modern scientific mind? Does the authenticity of the
qur'aan's style requires any support of a modern scientific statement? This research
work will prove the authenticity of Islam on scientific grounds which is the need of
the hour. Such studies are rare in literature.
