Islam is a complete code of conduct which is an excellent system of practical guidance in all walks of life. Islam is the favorite religion of Allah Almighty. No other religion is acceptable to Allah Almighty except Islam. The basic teachings of Islam are preserved in the form of the Qur'an and Sunnah. The complete example of this ideological and practical religion is the caste of the Holy Prophet. There is another aspect of the Sunnah of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to explain the Shari'ah rules, which has received little attention, and that is that in many matters it has been proven that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) abandoned them. The Prophet did not perform these actions, that is, they are not part of actions. Such actions are called the Al-Sunnah Al-Tarkiah. The meaning of the deeds left by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) is different in different ways, and which of them can be called Sunnah and which cannot? Which of the following is obligatory, and which is not?
Sometimes the Prophet would deliberately give up a task even though you were able to do it and the task required you to do it, even then, he did not do this despite the fact that there were no obstacles. What is the legal status of these abandoned matters? What will be the effect of these abandonment on Shariah rules? Can Al-Sunnah Al-Tarkiah be used as an argument for solving new problems? Or can the status and sanctity of something be decided on the basis of the Al-Sunnah Al-Tarkiah? The research under review also sheds light on the role of the Al-Sunnah Al-Tarkiah in the unity of the Muslim Ummah.
