Special Study of Ahādīth-e-Mursalāt

Abstract

The most important part of Ahādīth is the Ahādīth-e-Musalsalāt, in which along with Sanad Rawayat, Sanad-e-tasalsul is also seen and examined. These Ahādīth have come from different classes of scholars and jurists, their interpretations are available in the Ahādīth Musalsalāt of Hanafī, Malikī, Hanābil, Shawāfeh and Sūfī poets. Imām Sakhāwī explains the significance of Ahādīth Musalsalāt that Ahādīth Musalsalāt is the collection of many secrets, in the Hadīth of continuity, abundance of reason and care is paramount. Therefore, the narrators made arrangements to recite Ahādith Musalsalāt, in its certain actions of Holy Prophet are preserved with utmost importance. Ibn Daqīq-al-Eid has counted among the virtues of Ahādīth Musalsalāt, because there is continuity in it. It turned out that there is a special condition in the Ahādith Musalsalāt and which does not occur in the general Ahādith in this respect. There is a special word and deed in it which is going on with great continuity and as it goes on it finally reaches the Holy Prophet. What a grace of a narrator that with the blessings of Ahādīth Musalsalāt, his name is connected with Holy Prophet. These Ahādīth refer to the chain of narrators of Ahādīth which is characterized by a single condition or attribute, rather it belongs to Rawāt or Asnād, it can be through time and space. Then it is same whether the condition or attributes of the narrator are verbal or physical. Some of the benefits of Ahādīth Musalsalāt are noteworthy, that is a great honor for the narrator that his name reaches the Holy Prophet in the course of a special process. One of the advantages of Ahādīth Musalsalāt is that it strengthened the control of Rawāt. This proves the importance of the chain of transmission of the Ahādīth towards Holy Prophet and the caution of the action mentioned in it. In the same way, the Ahādīth also gives a good idea of intercession, and the arrangements of all Rawāt mentioned in the Sanad becomes clear in it.
