Ahl al-Sunnah's Knowledge Acquisition from People of First Century Ahl al-Bayt, A Historical Review
Keywords:
Ahl-Byt, Ahl-Tasanan, Knowledge Acquisition, Center of knowledgeAbstract
In the first Hijri century, most of the centers of knowledge of Ahl al-Bayt alﷺ were established in Makkah, Madinah and Kufa, because until that time these cities were more famous for the promotion and dissemination of sciences and arts. The members of the Ahl al-Baytﷺ including Azwaj-Mutahurat, also established their centers of knowledge in the cities. Among these centers, the first and most important was the Masid-Nabwi in Madinah and Madrasah Safa, which was famous for teaching and the promotion, publication of sciences and arts since the time of the Prophet Muhammadﷺ. In the first century of Hijri, all the scholars have benefited from the message of the people of Ahl al-Bayt without distinction, including the Companions and the Companions. Apart from Khayd's individuals, Azwaj-Mutahrat and other personalities of Ahl-Byt have been derived and utilized by Ahl al-Tasnan as well, as we saw in the details of individuals. This period was the period of Prophet Muhammadﷺ, the Companions and the Companions, in which the Companions also benefited from the people of Ahl-Bayt, during this period no religious distinction was allowed. During this period, there was not much tendency to establish centers of knowledge which had many reasons, therefore many personalities used it or what was its condition could not be known, however, those people have been involved in Ahl al-Bayt-e-Amal Peer's Ruwa or Haqa Talmand. In the first century of Hijri, the term Ahl-Byt and Ahl-Tasanan did not difference much.Rather, it seems that the members of Ahl-Bytﷺ and the rest of the companions and followers were all from the same scholl of thought and the Ahl-Byt had superiority over the rest based on some reasons.
