Abstract

A renowned companion of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) Hazrat Amr bin Al-Aas (RA) was a skilled military leader, diplomat and administrator. He was born in Makkah around 580 CE. Initially, He (RA) opposed to Islam but later accepted the faith in 629 CE. He (RA) was known for his exceptional eloquence, which played a significant role in his success as a diplomat, military leader and administrator. His addresses and letters showcased his ability to communicate effectively, using simple and straightforward language to convey his message. He avoided ambiguity ensuring his audience understood his message clearly. He presented logical arguments. Using examples and anecdotes to illustrate his points. He used emotional appeals to touch the hearts of his audience, demonstrating empathy and understanding. He listened attentively to his audience and adapted his communication style to suit them. His eloquence promoted cohesion Arab tribes. His persuasive arguments and emotional appeals helped convert many nonـMuslims to Islam. Overall Hazrat Amr bin AlـAas’s (RS) eloquence was a key factor in his success and his addresses and letters continue to inspire and influence people to this day. In this article we shall discuss about the eloquence and agreements of Hazrat Amr bin AlـAas (RA).
