Keywords:
ministry, established, Islam, Muhammadﷺ, Abu BakrؓAbstract
On the basis of the establishment of the ministry, it can be assumed that the supreme authority and the ministry were not established at the same time and it is certain that the need for one after the other was definitely felt. When the Sultan felt the need for advice and support in order to run the state, it is certain that the position of the Ministry was established so that the Minister could take his hand in the responsibilities of the head of state. It can be said that if the matter is seen in the context of Islamic history, since when the word of this ministry was used in Islam, then the use of this word started in the era of Prophethoodﷺ. In this way, the Prophet (ﷺ) used to consult with many companions to run the system of Madinah state and assigned many tasks to them. But if we look at the time of Prophethood, Prophet Muhammadﷺ used to consult with Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique and Hazrat Umar in many matters. And numerous hadiths bear witness to the fact that many administrative tasks were also entrusted to these two souls of Qudsiya. In 9 Hijri, Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique was made the Ameer of Hajj and many times he sent Jihadi armies of conquests to various places under the leadership of Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddique. In other words, it can be said with full confidence in the light of hadiths that Hazrat Abu Bakr Siddiq and Hazrat Umar Farooq were ministers during the Prophet's reign. And all the best qualities that a minister should have, those qualities were present in both of them, which we will mention in detail in our full article.
